EDD KNIGHT
CHELTENHAM
-
I specialise in creating harmony between the creative design, the practical design and the technical requirements needed to pull the project together for both new builds and refurbishments, including listed buildings.
-
I gained a BA (Hons) in lighting design from Rose Bruford College, and I am also an affiliate member of the Society of Light and Lighting and CIBSE. I have been designing with light for 8 years.
-
On the other side of my life, I love to play cricket on a weekend, where I pretend I can bat or simply watch a thrilling Test match. I can also often be found on the Avon as a Coxswain for my local rowing club.
Having begun in theatre, I swiftly grew captivated by the transformative power of light in shaping a space—how it can convey objects, texture, and colour while elevating environments.
Harnessing this fascination, I strive to enrich architectural spaces creatively and technically, delivering inspiring yet functional results by using a tandem of the existing architecture and purposeful discreet, quality fittings.
